SCI-FI SCARBOROUGH (SATURDAY 9 & SUNDAY 10 APRIL 2016)
I'm delighted to announce that I shall be attending Sci-Fi Scarborough this coming weekend. Here's what the organizer, Steve Dickinson has to say:
Sci-Fi Scarborough has always had an ethos of giving fans the chance to meet the creators, designers, writers, prop builders and technicians of their favourite genre series in person. It’s great to pull back the curtain and hear how your favourite characters have come to life and when you are talking about some of the most recognisable villains of all time, it was obvious that we had to have our favourite pepper shakers by the seaside.
An event run by fans for fans, SFS returns for a third year with everything you loved about the first and some extra helpings of geek love for the follow up of the return of the son of!
Two full days (inc Sat night Party) filled with Comic Book Artists/Writers/Music/Prop Displays/Traders/Authors/Cosplay/Guest Appearances/Guest Panels/Science/Steampunk/Fan Films/Geek Pub Quizzes/Retro Gaming/Tabletop Gaming/Minecraft/Miniatures/Modern Console Gaming/Competitions/Awards/Education/Live Music and much much more.
Fellow guests include Battlestar Galactica's Richard Hatch, Babylon 5's Claudia Christian, Star Trek Voyager's Garrett Wang and Red Dwarf's Norman Lovett, with Dan Starkey, Simon Fisher-Becker and yours truly from Doctor Who.
